What is officially confirmed
AFTE2 has five upgraded core classes plus a new Specialist endgame class for fully custom Marines. The developer describes the Specialist as a major build-expression system.
What is not confirmed here
The official page retrieved for this guide does not publish a numeric level for each core class, a total account level, a mission completion requirement or the exact moment the unlock notification appears. Competitor pages are not sufficient evidence.
Safe progression route
- Open the current Specialist panel and record the requirement shown by your build.
- Progress each of the five core classes rather than assuming one favorite class is enough.
- Re-check after a patch or progression milestone.
- Capture the unlock panel—not a copied competitor claim—before publishing a numeric guide.
Why Patch 1 matters
The release patch changed perks, abilities, elemental ammo, attachments and companion-bot behavior. Unlocking Specialist opens customization, but an old perk recommendation may already need re-verification.
After unlocking
Use the Build Planner to record a mode and squad responsibility. Leave exact abilities and values blank until you verify them in the current game.
