Hunter — the priority-target specialist

The Hunter has the most publicly documented kit in the sequel: Particle Pulse variants, Stasis Bolt, and the No Rest/No Mercy perks. Kit details from GamingBolt; footage from the official showcase below.

Combat identity

The Hunter is the precision class of the five-class lineup (official site) — built to find the one enemy that matters and end it. In a bestiary where Sirens multiply waves and Harbingers pin Marines (G2A), a dedicated priority-killer is often the difference.

The documented kit

Kit pieceDocumented detail (GamingBolt)
Particle PulseSignature ability with Beam and Cryo Pulse modifications
Stasis BoltControl tool — freeze the priority target in place
No RestPerk: bonus damage against weakened targets
No MercyPerk: increased stopping power

How the kit plays together

Read as a combo, the Hunter's loop is: Stasis Bolt to pin → Particle Pulse to punish → No Rest/No Mercy multipliers to finish. It's the cleanest answer to the official "kill it first" counters for Sirens (G2A), and the Cryo Pulse variant gives the class a control fallback against mobile strains.

Squad fit

The Hunter holds the "point damage" job in squad composition and pairs naturally with a Marauder — one clears the crowd, one kills the caller. Aim-assist traits (Smartgun's +15%, GamingBolt) suit the precision playstyle; see Traits & Augments.
