The three enemy factions
Fireteam Elite 2 fields three distinct enemy camps: classic Xenomorphs, Pathogen-mutated creatures (the black-goo strain returns from the first game's expansion era, per a Comic-Con interview with Cold Iron's Jake Kriegman reported by GamingBolt), and Weyland-Yutani combat synthetics. Each faction fights differently, so a squad loadout that melts Xenos can stall against shielded androids.
